Gray takes Aramintha deeper into the compound to the Central Room where humans are free to wander in captivity, like animals in a zoo. And like zookeepers, their alien captors understand human species well enough to make major changes. Cut off from everyone and everything she knows, Aramintha is desperate to connect with other humans….but people are different now.
